What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMV Clerk position at Debbie's Registration?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process wholesale paperwork for auctions and dealers.
- File used, and new registrations through the DMV first line providers and the DMV, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Clean DMV schedules and issue refund checks to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and/or email.
- Follow up on titles for trades and purchases and lien satisfies from the lenders.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the sales and finance team as well as business office to complete their paperwork efficiently.
- Remain updated with new DMV rules and regulations.
- Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years motor vehicle registration experience.
- Must possess good organizations skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Dealer experience and business partner automation (BPA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of out-of-state titles is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a faced paced environment.
- Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and diligent.
- Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail.
- Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
