We seek qualified USMC Training Specialists in Virginia Beach & Quantico, VA.

Position Description:

The candidate will provide direct support to the Product Manager for Future Radar Systems, PEO ExR LS.   In this role the candidate will provide expert advice for training requirements, facilities, equipment, curriculum, and manpower.  In addition, the candidate will ensure training plans and curriculum comply with:

• MIL-HDBK-29612-2A, Instructional Systems Development/Systems Approach to Training and Education
• NAVMC 1553.1A Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education Handbook, and
• MCO 5311.1E Total Force Structure Process

The candidate will lead the development of the documentation necessary to implement training for new systems and establish approved training classes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support efforts to define training requirements for Future Radar Systems.
• Analyze maintenance and operational tasks and determine the level of training required for maintenance technicians to exercise those skill sets. 
• Ensure training objectives support required troubleshooting and maintenance actions and level of competence for electronic/mechanical repair. 

• Provide support for implementation of New Equipment Training when production systems are delivered to USMC Units.
• Analyze proposed training implementation plans for compliance with USMC training standards.
• Assist in the development of training curriculum or curriculum updates.
• Participate in maintenance procedure development.
• Participate in technical maintenance documentation review and modifications. 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Practical experience in the development of USMC training plans, procedures, and course implementation 
• Practical experience ensuring training compliance with USMC requirements
• Familiarity and experience working with:
  1. MIL-HDBK-29612-2A, Instructional Systems Development/Systems Approach to Training and Education
  2. NAVMC 1553.1A Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education Handbook, and 
  3. MCO 5311.1E Total Force Structure Process 
• Practical experience in the development and use of the following documents:
  1. MPT Analysis Determination (MAD) Tool
  2. Training Situation Assessment Report (TSA)
  3. New Equipment Training (NET)
  4. Manpower Estimate Report (MER)
  5. Training Program Plan (TPP)
  6. Instructional Performance Requirements Document (IPRD)
  7. Training Program Structure Document (TPSD)
  8. Master Lesson File (MLF)
• Interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills 
• Personal computer skills (competent with MS Office applications)
