Merchandising

DecksDirect is a fast-growing e-commerce retail company looking for a Merchandising Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a highly organized and extremely detail focused person who loves crossing things off their to do list.

If you’re the right fit for this role, you will have a passion for delivering a great online shopping experience to our customers by managing the product data that feeds our website. You will be accountable for onboarding new products, ensuring adherence to our product presentation standards, and working to meet department deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain products on the website as needed in a consistent and thorough manner
• Be engaged with our products - learn what they do and how they are used
• Execute merchandising strategies as defined by the e-Commerce Merchandising Manager
• Communicate with the buying team to ensure product data accuracy
• Coordinate with the marketing department on product marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

• High technical aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to proactively and collaboratively solve problems
• Interest and experience in shopping online
• Experience working in an e-Commerce based environment a plus
• Experience in Magento 2 is preferred (not required)
• HTML experience is preferred (not required)
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• A sense of humor (required)

Position Details:

• This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday.
• This is an internal position - not a remote or telecommuting role.
