Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified QMHA (Qualified Mental Health Associate) to join our team. As a QMHA, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and document vital signs of individuals
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Implement individualized care plans and provide support in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and manage behaviors to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address medical needs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information
- Provide crisis management support as needed
- Assist individuals in developing coping skills for managing PTSD symptoms
- Support individuals in achieving their treatment goals through behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of inhale techniques
- Familiarity with crisis management strategies and behavior management techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
