Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. WORK ENVIRONMENT — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssemble parts according to the QIS work instruction, control plan, or blueprint using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, tape or other fastening methodsPrepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsPosition parts and subassemblies by using templates fixtures or reading measurementsAssemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembliesVerify specifications by measuring completed componentResolve assembly problems by verifying dimensions to meet specifications; notify supervisor to obtain additional resourcesKeep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairsMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S procedures, rules, and regulationsConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as neededDocument actions by completing production and quality formsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as neededOther duties as assignedAbility to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customersSupport the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findingsSKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to read QIS work instruction, control plan, or blueprintUnderstand and follow basic verbal and written instructionsEffectively communicateAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPossess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionPerform basic visual quality inspections on productsMaintain the production pace of other team membersUtilize hand tools, power tools, and various equipment as neededPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Graduate, GED, or HSDE preferredExperience: Any manufacturing and/or assembly experience preferredComputer Skills:  Must demonstrate computer literacy

Salary : $32,800 - $41,500
