Outpatient Services RN

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our skilled and high-quality nursing staff who exemplify the culture and values of our growing organization. Under the supervision of the Outpatient Services Director, the Outpatient Specialty RN will provide care in the Outpatient Services department, including but not limited to Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Anticoagulation Clinic, Nursing Outpatient Services, Tele-Oncology infusion therapy, and other duties as assigned. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care to ensure high quality patient care. The Outpatient Specialty RN works collaboratively on implementing and supporting hospital initiatives, performance improvement, resource management, systems improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements, and meeting attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Skills

• Proven experience as a registered nurse
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible and compassionate
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred but not required).
• Valid nursing license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.72 - $48.00 per hour

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
