Licensed (Rehab) Psychologist- Southeast Houston, TX
** $5000 Retention Bonus Opportunities available for full-time positions.**
COVID-19 considerations:
PPE provided for all clinicians providing in-person services (includes mask, face shield, gown, etc.). Telehealth may be available on a temporary basis depending on location.
We are hiring Licensed Psychologists in the Clear Lake/Friendswood area to provide Full Time high quality individual psychotherapy, family therapy, assessment services, and neurocognitive testing (training provided) to short-term rehab patients in long-term care facilities and rehabilitation hospital/Post-acute hospital settings. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team approach involving patient, family, Primary Care, Rehab Staff, Psychiatry and Facility Staff to motivate individuals through their rehab program, while using testing, assessment, and collaboration to provide input to develop best plan of care and discharge plan.
Services provided may include:
- Assessment/Evaluation
- Neurocognitive Testing (training provided)
- Psychotherapy
- Family therapy

Qualifications
- Doctoral Level Psychologist licensed in the State of Texas (if relocating, willing to obtain TX license)
- Experience working with the geriatric or rehab population (preferred)
- Must meet credentialing standards of employer and CMS
- Willing to travel to assigned Nursing Homes within the local area
- Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience using Electronic Medical Records Systems
- Must possess effective communication skills in order to interact with patients, families, and facility staff
