Northwest Tellers are important members of our retail network team because they often have the most interaction with our customers. Northwest Tellers provide an excellent customer service experience by welcoming customers, efficiently processing transactions, resolving problems and uncovering financial needs for referral to the appropriate line of business.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience:
- Customer service experience preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Banking and/or retail experience preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide the best customer experience possible by being courteous and efficient to all customers, in person or over the telephone
- Communicate with customers to recognize cross-selling opportunities
- Contribute to the overall sales performance of the office team
- Educate and/refer Northwest solutions that meet our customer/client needs through the Northwest 360 model – bank, borrow, invest, and insure
- Complete educational training as assigned
- Participate in regular office meetings
- Contribute to the office’s success of operations and audit
- Able to work evening hours and weekends as scheduled or assigned
- Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
- Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
- Work as part of a team
- Work with onsite equipment
