Our receptionist’s responsibilities include some of the following:
- Answer the telephone and distribute telephone messages to the appropriate parties.
- Greet visitors and ensure the visitor log is completed.
- Ensure visitors and staff are properly screened prior to entering the building.
- Accept packages for the hospital per hospital’s policies.
- Observe the activities of the main lobby and ensure the area is kept orderly.
- Assist the Assessment and Referral Department as needed.
Please apply if you have the following qualifications for a receptionist:
- Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Must have 6-months front desk/receptionist experience and prefer some behavioral health patient care experience.
- Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care certification within 30 days of employment.
- Available to work on days, evenings, and/or nights, as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
