OhioGuidestone provides a complete continuum of prevention services and mental health and substance use treatment, focusing on responsive person-centered care to approximately 26,000 people each year through telehealth and locations across the state.
OhioGuidestone is seeking a part-time, receptionist to support our Workforce Program in Cleveland. The receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and providing general administrative support. They welcome clients, direct them to the appropriate individuals and ensure a positive and professional experience. Additionally, the receptionist manages incoming and outgoing correspondence, schedules appointments, maintains the reception area, and assists with various administrative tasks as needed. The receptionist must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have strong organizational abilities, and be proficient in handling basic office equipment and software.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Our Promise each and every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
- Converses with & greets clients in person or by phone and directs all clients and visitors to the Agency in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Answers telephones, converses to route calls and provides information on other community resources as appropriate.
- Creates memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to visitors and associates
- Perform data entry into Agency database systems with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Notifies staff of client or visitor’s arrival and provides verbal information and/or printed materials as requested.
- Provides support to staff through copying forms, faxing, order supplies and other clerical tasks as required.
- May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 2 years’ experience performing responsible administrative and support duties in office environment
- Demonstrated computer proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel or Power Point) preferred and electronic health records).

- Team player with the ability to build relationships - both internal and external - at all levels.
- Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
- Successfully meet pre-employment drug screen, physical exam and background requirements.
