**** CAFETERIA WORKER / CASHIER *****
Responsible for preparing and serving cafeteria food with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards, following established food production programs and procedures. Responsible for cashiering in the cafeteria and sanitation activities, including dishwashing, warewashing, equipment cleaning and janitorial tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Food Preparation
- Operating Cash Register following department guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize work stations, counters, dishes, cafeteria tables and other equipment.
- Sets up stations with breads, food, beverages, condiments, disposable plates, and utensils.
- Stocks and cleans cafeteria beverage machines, brews coffee and tea.
- Lifts and moves supplies, aiding in filling and delivering stock supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Requirements:
We are seeking a high energy, self motivated indidvidual for this position.
- Must be able to read, write and perform simple math.
- Must be able to accurately handle money.
- Must have knowledge of some food preparation.
- Must be able to maintain effective working relationships and communication levels with co-workers, supervisors, and internal customers.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be detail oriented, and dependable.
Preferred candidates will have:
- Previous food service experience.
