Position Purpose:
defi SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong, demonstrated history of leading transformational and cultural change across large, complex business environments delivering mission critical services. The ideal candidate will have extensive, practical, and relevant experience developing and implementing processes, procedures and documentation related to products, platforms, frameworks and/or methodologies functioning across multiple product delivery teams operating in a distributed model across disparate global geographies. This position will have primary responsibility for management and oversight of large-scale transformation programs or initiatives, to include the structured and organized management of change, training, and the design, development, publication and management of relevant documentation, training materials and other related collateral.

The Program Manager will provide practical knowledge, personal experience, and effective leadership to drive the engagement of multiple business elements to achieve specific program benefits in accordance with a defined scope, schedule and budget.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Employ personal experience, subject matter expertise and lessons learned from previous engagements to execute a comprehensive program management strategy, objectives and deliverables, including the definition, creation and implementation of appropriate milestones, schedules, deliverables, metrics and reporting to ensure timely realization of intended benefit.
  • Operate under broad guidance with limited direct supervision, manage multiple priorities or adapt to changing priorities, make well-reasoned decisions while operating in an environment with ambiguity and/or incomplete information.
  • Identify the key requirements and deliverables needed from multiple business elements, cross functional teams, internal or external stakeholders and/or vendors and work closely with executive sponsors and other stakeholders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resource plans, work plan, budget, and timing to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Design, develop, publish and maintain documentation and training collateral and other appropriate materials that define the rules, tools, standards, processes, structure, governance, operating framework and engagement model for optimized execution and repeatable, predictable delivery of products and services.
  • Identify, analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, issues and impacts and produce appropriate routines and reports for escalation to management and stakeholders.
  • Define, develop and implement appropriate metrics, reporting, dashboards, program reviews, and other routines and artifacts required to convey situational awareness and program status to stakeholders, as well as provide presentations and written and/or verbal updates to stakeholders and to executive management.
  • Provide insight, advice, consultation and information to executive leadership regarding appropriate program objectives, deliverables, execution and execution-related issues.
  • Work with business stakeholders to define and implement optimized standards and best practices to improve processes for management of cross-team project dependencies and interlocks.

  • Own day-to-day execution and management of specific program(s)
  • Provide expert, experienced, practical leadership, guidance, education and advice commensurate with senior-level program management, including planning and governance with practical application to organizational structure and program functional routines.
  • Exhibit leadership characteristics such as strategic thinking, communicating with influence, and building trust-based relationships.
  • Design, create, publish, organize and maintain professional documentation, collateral, and training and/or marketing materials related to defi standards, governance and operating framework.
  • Drive organized, methodical, transformative and positive cultural change through continuous demonstration of effective leadership, progressive vision and results-oriented behavior.
  • Handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities without direct supervision or close guidance.
  • Employ advanced analytical skills to solve complex business problems and to perform root cause analysis and compile and translate analysis into meaningful and fact-based conversations.
  • Exhibit appropriate business acumen, awareness and visibility to anticipate, proactively manage and mitigate risks and issues to avoid program impacts.
  • Communicate, both verbally and written, clearly, concisely and accurately with a high level of confidence and expertise across all levels of business, often as a change agent.
  • Craft and articulate effective professional presentations, including program topics, progress and outcomes to various audiences such as executive leadership, stakeholders, steering groups, etc.
  • Coach and mentor associates, teams, product sponsors, managers and other stakeholders.
  • Potentially manage a local or distributed team of subordinates and/or matrixed resources/teams to accomplish program objectives and deliverables.

Required Qualifications/ Skills:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years’ experience managing large programs in complex business environments, delivering mission critical services.
  • Change Management Certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex programs and/or transitions to new frameworks, technologies, products, platforms, or methodologies in a large-scale enterprise.
  • Practical experience designing, developing, organizing and maintaining documentation and appropriate collateral related to frameworks, governance, processes and business operations.
  • Practical experience developing business, program and/or technical strategies to support largescale programs, operations or transformations, including developing budgets, resource plans, transitional roadmaps, etc.
  • Experience building, growing, and leading teams across distributed geographies.

Travel Requirements:
Business travel may be required; amount dependent upon business need and employee location.
