Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CPR Instructor to join our team. As a CPR Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality training to individuals in the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPR and be able to effectively communicate and educate others. The position requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
Duties:
- Teach first aid and CPR classes to students of all ages, including children and adults.
- Develop and implement engaging and informative lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Conduct classes in a variety of settings, including the classroom and outdoor areas.
- Utilize visual aids, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to facilitate learning.
- Provide feedback and encouragement to students throughout the learning process.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of improvement and adjusting instruction accordingly.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in first aid and CPR training.
- Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive training program.
Qualifications:
- Must be certified in BLS (AHA), ACLS and PALS preferred
- Possess a strong understanding of first aid and CPR principles and practices.
- Experience teaching in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Ability to engage with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Adult education experience is highly valued.
- Commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment.
