Summary of Position:
DEKRA is searching for an energetic, organized, and collaborative Marketing Specialist to join our in-house marketing team. This is the ideal position for someone who has a passion for marketing and an interest in leveraging digital tools, customer insights, and data to drive business results. In this role, you will utilize your experience in project management and excellent communication skills to create and execute effective, creative marketing campaigns.

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of marketing strategies across different testing, inspection, certification, and consulting specialties.
- Manage status meetings, status reports, timelines, and deliverables.
- Serve as the day-to-day marketing point of contact for key business units and groups.
- Develop and deploy email campaigns, social media posts, and website content.
- Brief external writing and design partners on complex communications, including brochures, white papers, thought leadership materials, and newsletters, and manage final delivery.
- Collaborate with other marketing team members, regional subject matter experts, and corporate specialists, on the implementation of performance-based marketing initiatives.
- Prioritize requests from different teams, ensuring tasks and timelines are met.
- Ensure all marketing materials are proofread and flawlessly executed.
- Report on progress and relevant digital marketing metrics.
- Effectively organize, manage, and share marketing materials across different teams within the company.
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, PR, other relevant field of study preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience on-staff or as an intern at an ad agency, in-house marketing team or similar role that includes hands-on project or program management for multiple campaigns, projects, and stakeholders preferred.
- Experience providing marketing, communications, or promotional support for B2B or other technical products/services.
- Experience writing B2B marketing communications content for various platforms, including social media and email.
- Resourceful, self-starter that works well in cross-functional team environments.
- Comfortable working in a highly matrixed organization, taking feedback from different stakeholders and levels within the organization, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Able to develop actionable status reports and use them to lead status meetings, ensuring internal partners with different responsibilities align on and contribute to critical marketing deliverables.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to develop and manage timelines for integrated marketing initiatives.
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills, including flawless grammar and ability to proofread materials.
- Able to effectively communicate with partners in other locations via phone, MS Teams, email, etc.
- Can multi-task and work calmly under multiple deadlines.
- Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email to create persuasive, compelling recommendations.
- Proficiency with MarTech tools including, but not limited to, CRM (Customer Relationship Management systems, Salesforce preferred), marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketing Cloud is a plus), website Content Management Systems (CMS), Social Media Platforms and Google Analytics highly preferred.
