What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Manager position at Del Taco?
We are seeking a District Manager to join our growing group of Del Taco restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee retail staff and store operations
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of Del Taco standards, products, and policies
- Responsible for managers’ ordering, scheduling, and store protocols
- Responsible for store’s financial goals
- Lead sales and transaction improvement efforts
- Train and develop General Managers and their teams
- Lead the development of goal setting and restaurant improvement strategies
- Work with General Managers on developing and implementing plans to achieve people, operational and financial goals
- Develop and measure the stores results vs. goals
- Prior Del Taco knowledge preferred
Qualifications:
- Honest, trustworthy and maintains a high level of integrity
- Passionate about success and achieving results
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Direct experience within the QSR Industry
- Direct experience managing other leaders and managers
Requirements:
- Understanding of P&L, COGS, and management strategies required
- Prior kitchen experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to lead and work with a team
- Must be approachable, mindful, and positive while promoting accountability and personal initiative
- Solid management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in any given situation
