Position Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Remote
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to support the implementation and maintenance of SaaS applications for either state or federal contracts. This position may require local travel in support of the client, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and Force.com platform.
- Provide technical leadership on projects by providing guidance to junior team members to follow Salesforce best practices.
- Accountable for Salesforce technical delivery - Build, System Testing handover/co-ordination, Tech. Documentation and deployment activities
- Ability to analyze/identify gaps in functional/business requirements, discuss with functional and client product owners on required changes that align with Salesforce product stack and architecture
- Assists in quality management reviews and ensures that all business and design requirements are met.
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and Single Sign-On.
- Migrate changes from development to test to production environment(s) using CI technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, and ANT.
- Define code review methodology, perform independent code reviews, and certify code developed by self and other junior team members on the project.
- Ability to effectively debug and resolve technical issues or defects that may be reported due to faults in the production system.
- Assist with client presentations as required.
- Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required.
- Builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them to adopt the best solution.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience with Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, or force.com) functional and application design
- 5-8 years of Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation experience
- 5-8 years of experience building custom APEX and Visualforce solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce.com Service Cloud and Sales Cloud experience
- Solution experience in implementation projects
- Data Migration experience
- Additional Salesforce.com Certifications
- Background with architecture concepts (integration styles, architecture styles, patterns)
- Agile and Iterative experience
- OmniScripts
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and can pass a background investigation.
- Proven ability to develop a strategy and write, communicate, facilitate, and present to all IT, internal staff, and management levels.
- The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and communicate effectively with non-technical users.
- Candidates must have attention to detail and the capability to document details of completed work effectively.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Certifications - Salesforce.com such as Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator/System Architect required
