Delaware Valley Residential Care is an innovator in community based brain injury rehabilitation. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the company including: licensure, accreditation, funding source compliance, implementation of policy and procedures, training, mentoring and documentation for legal purposes at the local, state and federal levels.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Delaware Valley Residential Care.
- Directs, coordinates and maintains administrative oversight of all programs.
- Ensures compliance with OLTL, CARF, QMET and MCO regulations and applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations.
- Effective marketing and communication; marketing, referrals, evaluations, admission and follow through with the Clinical Team.
- Maintains program integrity and positive public relations.
- Management and supervision of all staff, responsible for the health and safety of staff.
- Evaluates the performance of personnel and approves hiring, promotions, and terminations.
- Counsels subordinates, resolves grievances and maintains effective disciplinary procedures.
- Develops and implements staff training schedule, staff training, and coordinates with trainers both in house and in the community.
- Encourages professional growth with an emphasis on mentoring and promotion from within the organization.
- Coordinates with all departments and managers, communicates with direct care staff to ensure consistency within the organization.
- Communicates effectively with Executive team to ensure optimal operation of all departments.
- Ensure the highest level of professional service is delivered to residents.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Maintains good rapport with physicians, families, case managers, physical and occupational therapists and other professionals.
- Assists to ensure that the rights of all residents are being met.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in human services field.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in management experience in a human services program related to working with families and clients.
- Assessed competence in administering and providing services to individuals, families, and/or clients.
- Demonstrated skills in management addressing operational, human resources and financial matters.
- Ability to coordinate the organization's services with other community resources.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
