Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions by identifying drug-drug interactions; therapeutic duplication and serve as a mediator between patients and their physicians.
- Receive and transcribe physician orders via telephone and fax
- Oversee the duties of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy interns, delivery drivers and other personnel
- Compound medications according to physician orders including creams, gels, suspensions, suppositories and capsules.
- Perform medication therapy management reviews utilizing platforms such as Mirixa and outcomes management
- Administer vaccinations to patients in accordance with the Texas State Law
- Possess the skills necessary to adjudicate insurance claims including but not limited to resolve prior authorizations, inputting override codes and rejections
- Resolve and address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist in implementing strategic plans for continued pharmacy growth and business evolution
- Perform and maintain accurate stock inventory

Pay: $90,840.86 - $159,801.41 per year

Experience:
- Pharmacy residency: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Pharmacist (Required)
