Landscaper/Laborer

Job Summary

• Work with a landscape team to complete various landscape and hardscape projects. In the winter, run a snow plow truck for snow and ice control.

General Accountabilities

• Use wheel barrows, tarps, skidsteers, excavators, trenchers, rakes, and dingos for furnishing and installing landscapes and hardscapes.
• Have knowledge on installing various plants and trees, bark mulch, rock mulch, pavers, sod, soil, and pvc sleeving.
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings in order to formulate plans on installing landscapes.
• Maintains flower beds by pruning, weeding and watering as needed.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Maintains the ground equipment which may include repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Operates powered lawn equipment, such as mowers, weed whackers, electric clippers, and pruning saws.
• Reports any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or repairs to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: Some previous work-related experience preferred
• Heavy equipment experience a bonus.
• Clean driving record and willing to submit a background check.
