THE ROLE
The Food Truck Supervisor reports to the General Manager. The Food truck Supervisor will oversee all food truck operations and oversee 1-2 cooks.
They will ensure all truck safety procedures, food safety procedures, and guest service expectations are met.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for food truck operations including driving truck to events and cooking and serving food to guests.
- Follow all pre and post trip inspections.
- Ensure all food, truck, and driving safety procedures are completed.
- Supervise and train staff for events.
- Prep, cook, and serve food items to customers while providing Legendary service.
- Keep food truck clean, organized, and stocked with supplies and products.
- Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality food and customer service.
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
- Maintain professional image throughout all outlets including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
- Manage safety audits, oversees health code compliance and issues
- Maintain financial records related to the operation of the department and meet required deadlines for reporting to the accounting department.
- Maintain open communications and professional relationships with all the Legends departments which you support as well as venue staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a truck preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ of culinary experience and supervising a team.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment while maintaining physical stamina for significant periods of time and maintain the proper attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees, and outside contacts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and POS Systems is required.
- Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills.
- Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift more than 30lbs.
- Must be able to stand for an extended amount of time.

Position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime.
