Cure Machine Technician

Purpose

Under the direction of the Manager of Cure and Cure Supervisor(s), the Cure Machine Technician(s) is/are responsible for taking on the different Cure department objectives to sustain high quality product consistently with accurate organization.  The  Cure Machine Technician is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.  The focus of the  Cure Machine Technician is to meet daily productivity, quality, and compliance requirements.

Essential Duties

• Cryo Cure - Cryogenic curing machine, following the Cryo Cure SOP’s the technician(s) will perform the following tasks; Loading, unloading, traying, fresh/frozen, routine maintenance, inventory management, etc., 
• Radsource - X-Ray Remediation machine, following the Radsource SOP’s the technician(s) will perform the following tasks; Loading, unloading, data tracking, retest storage, product staging, inventory management
• As well as being responsible for the extraction product pull and transfer which includes but is not limited to the following; Locating of product, creation of METRC tags, CounterPoint assignments, METRC manifests as well as data tracking and inventory management. 
• This position will be a part of the Cure Department, with the technician(s) reporting to the Manager of Cure - when the primary tasks and responsibilities are complete the technician(s) will assist Cure/Processing as necessary.

Procedures, Productivity, and Quality

• Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by supervisors to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.

• • Will be asked to perform takedowns, burps of product, dry trimming, extraction packaging, and organization tasks within this role.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
• Maintain a culture of professionalism.

Tracking and Monitoring 

• Rotate and adjust rooms based on moisture levels and rate of drying.
• Determine quality of product from each day’s harvest and separate accordingly. 
• Monitor and track product for moisture levels and rate of drying.
• Place and remove product from sheet trays and hanging racks.
• Ensure organization and proper separation of harvest batches.
• Ensure proper labeling of all product.

Workspace and Material Maintenance

• Ensure organization and cleanliness of immediate work station.
• Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the production area.
• Contribute to daily, weekly and periodic cleaning and general maintenance.
• Keep up all equipment and machinery.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).

Compliance 

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.  
• Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audit are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.

Other Duties

• Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.

Supervision

• Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Cure and Cure Supervisor(s)
• This position is not to supervise but may be asked to help assist and guide other teammates. 

Job Qualifications

Work Experience

• One and a half years of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment is preferred. 
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements. 
• Demonstrates high attention to detail.
• Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
• Demonstrates oral and communication capability. 
• Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Labor Marijuana Enforcement Division. 

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions

• Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.
• Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment.
• Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Regular and on-time attendance.
• Hours can regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
• Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
