What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cure Data Technician position at Delt Services LLC?
Purpose
This position is responsible for entering trim and bud products into CounterPoint in a timely, efficient, accurate, and compliant manner. This position is also responsible for being available to take on the Running role of the room, confirming entries are correctly input. This position is responsible for creating and editing packages within CounterPoint. This position requires a high attention to detail and a more advanced working knowledge of CounterPoint as well as METRC. This position provides regular and timely communication with Cure management as well as team members within the Packaging, Distribution, Testing, and Analytics departments. The Data Technician will report directly to the Cure Supervisor and Manager of Cure.
Essential Duties
Procedures, Productivity, and Quality
- Responsible for inventorying all dried and cured products, maintaining updates to the inventory system. (Source tags)
- Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by supervisors to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.
- Communicate with other departments’ members to ensure accuracy of the transitions of the product.
- Creation and activation of METRC/Counterpoint tags for product transfer. (MIP)
- Assisting with audits and resolving inventory errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
- Maintain a culture of professionalism.
Tracking and Monitoring
- Rotate and adjust rooms based on moisture levels & rate of drying.
- Place and remove product from sheet trays and hanging racks.
- Ensure organization and proper separation of harvest batches, licenses and grading of product.
- Ensure proper labeling of all product.
- Analyzing data details and accuracy.
- Ensuring all product has passed all testing and is ready to go to packaging.
- Keep track of any R&D experiments and communicating with R&D.
- Performing monthly audits to ensure all inventory and sheets are accurate.
- Constantly checking email for releases for Packaging department.
- Entering all inventory data into the North Cure spreadsheet.
- Prepping carts for packaging with all released product.
- Ensuring all product has been manicured properly and communicating with Management if needed.
- Organizing and separating harvest batches based on testing results.
- Perform inventory audits as needed based on Manager of Cure’s direction.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of immediate work stations.
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the production area.
- Contribute to daily, weekly and periodic cleaning and general maintenance.
- Keep up all equipment and machinery.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Other Duties
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Cure Manager & Cure Supervisor.
- This position is not to manage and discipline but assist the Cure Supervisor and Cure Manager with guiding and training.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- Previous trimming experience preferred.
- Previous inventorying experience preferred.
- One and a half years of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail.
- Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.
- Demonstrates oral and communication capability.
- Knowledge and background in trimming preferred.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Labor Marijuana Enforcement Division.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
