DTG2GO Material Handler

The Material Handler role is responsible for a variety of functions all geared towards supplying garments for Key Accounts to our print shop. This role focuses on accurately distributing the right garments, precise counts, and on-time execution according to production schedule and rush projects. This position requires initiative and a strong sense of time management and urgency. Additional duties may also include training staff to work on likeminded tasks and systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the distribution of production ready garments to our printshop, while staging ready-to-print garments in our holding area.
• Organizes and sorts active ready-to-print production in order of urgency and other requirements by customer in the printshop.
• Confirms accuracy of UPC labeling on garments according to specified requirements outlined by customer.
• Takes appropriate action to troubleshoot issues through research and engages management to find a solution.
• Supports QC’s, Expeditor, Supervisors, and Production Manager during critical projects/tasks.
• Monitors canceled PO’s and makes appropriate adjustments in our ERP.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and digest constructive criticism.
• Gathers all due diligence to communicate potential delays and schedule misses immediately to initiate planning and communication with critical parties.
• Required to float between picking and QC when required to streamline VIP customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and time management.
• Experience working with ERP, Zoom, MS Office, PNG Files, etc.
• Capability to digest training on technical evolutions quickly and documenting processes.
• Organizational skills with the ability to read and analyze Information.
• Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously and still meeting deadlines.

Knowledge of

• Inventory control, apparel production, and fulfilment centers.
• Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Additional skills such as apparel printing or operations background a bonus!
