BASIC PURPOSE: Properly set, clean and maintain all function rooms, public spaces, service corridors, storerooms and public function areas in a safe, accident-free manner.
Job Duties:
· Greet all guests in a cordial and timely manner
· Conducts daily inspection of Conference Center.
· Upon request, assist Food and Beverage Director in the preparation of weekly staff schedules
· Maintain banquet rooms in a clean and orderly condition at all times
· Resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
· Comply with all Company and Brand Standards
· Ensure that all legal requirements are followed, including wage and hour and federal, state and local laws/regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverages and food safety and sanitation
· Maintain open communication lines with restaurant staff and other departments in the hotel
· Perform other duties as needed to achieve hotel goals and guest satisfaction.
· Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all catering functions.
· Keep storage areas clean and neat at all times.
· Return all equipment not in use to proper storage area in clean condition before the end of each shift.
Requirements:
· Banquet experience preferred.
· Ability to read and understand instructions on Banquet Event Orders
· Local travel for outside Catering functions required
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
