Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a team of Onboarding Success Managers
- Ensuring a positive customer experience for new customers as they complete their purchase and begin the implementation of their new Deltek solution(s)
- Helping to develop and achieve onboarding strategies and performance metrics
- Developing strong relationships with counterparts in sales and customer success to ensure smooth handoffs between the teams
- Coaching, training, and assisting the team as needed to achieve customer success
- Driving career growth for the members of the team
- Following up with customers who express a negative sentiment about their Onboarding experience
- Collaborating effectively with an extended team including product management, product marketing, customer support, customer success, cloud operations, legal, sales, and more
- Building strong customer relationships with empathy and a desire to help customers reach their goals
Qualifications
Requirements
- 5 years customer service experience
- 3 years customer onboarding experience
- 2 years leadership/management experience
- Experience with Gainsight preferred
- Strong leadership skills to hire, train, motivate, and build a high performance Onboarding Success team
- Excellent customer service and relationship development skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as a drive to learn and expand product knowledge and skillset
