An HCP Lead is a seasoned, high performing Audiologist or Hearing Care Provider who is motivated by the opportunity to coach and develop their fellow Team Members. They are the “boots on the ground” for communicating processes improvements, coaching, onboarding, and leading providers throughout their assigned area.

By supporting and mentoring HCP’s, Externs, and Apprentices in their efforts to provide a world-class Patient Experience, the Lead HCP will Help More People Hear Better throughout their Region.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions::
- In-Clinic/Practicing
- Fulfill the role of a Hearing Care Provider (HCP)
- Train and Mentor peers while performing HCP duties by:
- Supporting New HCP Onboarding
- Onboarding can include physical and / or virtual support
- Provide guidance and assistant through online modules
- Model ATRT and provide in-person shadowing opportunity for new HCPs
- Reinforce expectations of HCP role
- Preceptor for Extern and Apprentice Programs
- Partners with Clinical Training Team to support Apprentice Program participants or Extern participants (depending on state-specific qualifications)
- Regional Training Support (12 hours per month)
- Coaching and mentoring
- Supporting HCPs in designate Region in areas such as close rate, return rate, ASP, productivity in clinic, and clinical skills training
- As this is a hybrid role, the Lead HCP will report to the District Manager or Area Director for HCP responsibilities. For training duties, the Lead HCP will report to the Regional Training Manager.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Associates/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to serve as a Preceptor in either the Apprentice or Extern Programs
- 5-7 years HCP experience
- Coaching or Training experience
- Proactive customer service skills, exhibiting friendly and courteous behavior in all Patient interactions.
- Exceptional professionalism, clear and articulate in communication; verbal, written, and face to face.
- Outstanding planning and organizational skills.
- Superior multi-tasking and time management discipline.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff and support services.

Travel:
