PRODUCTION TRAINER - Somerset, NJ
The Trainer is responsible for the training of all new personnel for the production floor. Participates with the department manager in the planning and training of personnel, as well as acting as focus point in developing and maintaining quality and productivity goals within the team.
- Trains new hires and re-trains existing personnel in order to meet and improve quality and productivity goals
- Create and file training record
- Coordinates training efforts with the manager and other senior technicians in order to meet established standards and good manufacturing practices.
- Communicating with training manager to identify training needs and participate in making in development plans for teams and individuals.
- Enhance that the focus of the training organization is to help the business and individuals within the business to perform better.
- Promotes awareness of quality requirements.
- Promotes to meet established standards and good manufacturing practices.
- Keeps up to date with current ITE/BTE procedures and technology.
- Monitor progress of new hires Operations to meet establish goals.
- Supports the business proactively whenever training is necessary
- Refers all personnel issues, such as conflicts, vacation issues, tardiness, or personal problems to the department manager.
- Maintains tools and equipment, orders spare parts and adheres strictly to all safety guidelines.
- Keeps work areas clean and organized.
May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager.
