You will be part of the High-Throughput Fermentation Process Engineering team and will work in a collaborative fashion to lead and execute efforts to characterize and develop high-throughput fermentation processes at micro-bioreactor scale and use them to screen microbial strains and fermentation parameters for improved production of small molecules. You will be part of an interdisciplinary project team of fermentation/DSP scientists and engineers, automation engineers, software engineers, analytical chemists, and strain engineers working to rapidly develop microbial strains and fermentation processes to produce natural medicines. This person will report to the Head of the High-Throughput Fermentation Process Engineering group.
