Office Clerk
Entry level position with opportunities for growth in our national company. Responsibilities include Scanning, Filing, Scheduling, Answering phones with excellent customer service, Billing Spreadsheet, Data Entry. Must be able to report to work and have reliable transportation. Full time position with benefits.
Required:
- Must submit to and pass preemployment drug screen

Principle Activities and Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently / Take direction
- Computer savvy Microsoft Office / Excel Proficient / Microsoft Office
- Financial accounting system introduction. Coding of all Purchase Orders
- Create and maintain spreadsheets for financial tracking purposes
- Approve daily subcontractor and company driver manifests
- Ability to follow and maintain standards
- Ability to lift > 20 lbs. (Move Files When Needed)
- Hours are flexible to a point but must start by 8:30am, generally 5 days a week.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week with opportunity for overtime
- Answer the phones; direct calls; take messages and distribute
- Post and deliver mail to post office at the end of each day
- Order supplies and stock office
- Manage the copy machine; ensure all are stocked; order and replace toners; oversee the maintenance
Competency: Strong written and oral communication skills. Must be detail oriented, accurate, flexible, dependable and a team player. Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Computer competency, and proficient in Excel. Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision.
Work environment: Position requires the employee to work in the office.
Physical demands: The position primarily requires sitting, typing, and viewing a computer. Other less frequent physical demands include bending and lifting.
Travel: No travel is expected with this position.
Preferred education and experience: High School Diploma or GED.
