The primary functions of this position are as follows:
- Service some reactive requests for service
- Perform Technology Alignment Reviews
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge and documentation of the client environment
- Perform regular, proactive service
- Help build a Standards Library
- Minimize reactive issues and the time spent resolving those that do occur
- Identify technical risk
- Build and maintain technical relationships
This position provides training, opportunity, and even assistance in gaining certifications for qualified individuals meeting performance goals.

- Develop plans to converge with our standard solution stack
- Standardization through best practices
- Planning for elimination of reactive issues
- Planning for elimination of recurring issues
- Offering frequent Enriching Recommendations
- Managing and mitigating risk for all recurring services clients (proactive maintenance)
- Ensure the business continuity, disaster recovery, security goals and other goals as defined by the managed services clients are met.
- Advise with the development of policy (HIPAA, Security, Disaster Recovery, AUP, etc.)
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At minimum a mastery of the required SC skill set at the highest level
- Microsoft Certified Professional having passed any server related exam and workstation related exam (required)
- Two or more MS certificates (preferred)
- VMware VCP/Hyper-V Cert (preferred)
- CCNA (preferred)
- An associate degree or better in an IT field (preferred)
- A proven ability to solve technical problems and define solutions to meet client objectives
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to effectively document technical work
- Ability to develop documentation or technical guides and training materials
- Ability to communicate technology with business decision makers
