Part-time

Dennis Parasail and Jet ski, is hiring full-time and part-time Jet Ski Guides. Position starts at the end of May 2022 and will end early September 2022.

As a Jet Ski guide, you and 1-2 other guides will lead groups of jet skiers out onto the water and into an open ride area.

While on the water you will monitor riders to ensure that they are staying within the boundaries, avoiding sandbars &

jetties, and keeping a safe distance from other jet skis and boats.

Jet ski guides responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Fitting life jackets
  • Instructing riders on how to use a jet ski
  • Leading riders on the water to the free ride area
  • Ensuring that riders maintain a slow speed in the no wake zone
  • Constantly monitoring riders
  • Docking boats and jet skis
  • Refueling and cleaning jet skis and boats
  • Upholding safety standards
  • Ability to stay calm and diffuse heightened situations
  • Mechanical work on Jet skis (oil change, changing battery, pumping out liquid, etc)

Having an outgoing personality and a positive attitude is a must! Jet ski guides must be able to get on and off boats and jet skis efficiently, work outdoors in a hot environment, as well as be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds and push 100 pounds.

Being dependable and having a flexible schedule, including working nights, weekends, and holidays is extremely important.

Boating experience is highly preferred, but not mandatory (we will train the right candidate).
