Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, ensuring smooth workflow, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including receptionists, administrative assistants, and billing personnel
- Ensure efficient and effective office operations by implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for staff and patients
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Handle financial management tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable/payable
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries or concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal patient care
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks)
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager in a dental office setting
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and practice management principles
- Proficiency in using practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of office staff
- Knowledge of financial management principles related to billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable/payable
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
