Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, DCA currently supports over 400 allied practices and supports over 900 dentists across 24 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under more than 150 brand names.
Position Summary:
Ensures a seamless and positive experience for new providers during their first year with the organization. Serves as the primary point of contact in building a relationship between dentists and Dental Care Alliance, guiding through the onboarding process, and speaking regularly with providers to make sure their needs are being met.
Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
- Ensure a comprehensive onboarding, training, and introductory period into the organization’s culture, mission, vision, and values.
- Manage the onboarding process by partnering with doctor administration, credentialing, marketing, information technology, and finance, ensuring all departments are prepared for the provider’s day one.
- Foster a positive relationship with new doctors to ensure a smooth transition into the organization, instilling a sense of confidence in the dentist’s decision to join Dental Care Alliance.
- Identify and communicate to Support Center leaders opportunities to improve based on doctor feedback.
- Ensure tactical support to Doctors to ensure effective initial and ongoing onboarding for; benefits, compensation, system access, and other tactical needs within initial onboarding.
- Maintain up-to-date databases and records related to provider engagement, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide regular, concise, reports on the status of provider engagement, including progress, potential issues, and retention rates.
- Stay informed about industry best practices in physician onboarding and participate in relevant training and education opportunities.
- Conduct stay/pulse interviews on an ongoing basis and employ proactive retention tactics to re-engage providers indicated as “high risk” for turnover.
- Report to Engagement, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners on an ongoing basis to provide feedback on process improvement to improve proactive onboarding, interview & selection, and pre-boarding efforts.
- Support development in collaboration with IT and HRIS leadership to develop and design systems and processes to improve the utilization of technology in Doctor retention.
- Assist in organizing regional events to help build a sense of community. Partnering with vendors to help sponsor study clubs, events to celebrate providers, and town halls.
- Serve as liaison between doctors and Support Center to ensure successful adoption and integration of clinical, operational, and financial systems and processes.
- Conduct exit interviews for terminating providers, track and report on trends in feedback from voluntary terms.
- Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership on plans to reduce voluntary terminations.

Education & Qualifications/Training:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, human resources or other related field. Military experience or applicable work experience that is equal to or greater than a 4 year degree may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Previous experience in provider relations, onboarding, or related field preferred
Qualifications/Training:
- Experience working with licensed Dentists or Physicians
