Job Description: The Account Manager is responsible for managing their assigned book of business with service contract sales. The primary objectives of the position are to renew customers’ existing service contracts, reactivate contracts for expired/declined credit cards, and serve as a single point of contact for product and service needs. The Account Manager will build strong relationships with their customer base through a regular cadence of communication to ensure that their service contracts remain active and to identify opportunities to sell additional equipment and service contracts. The Account Manager will be the go-to-person for their customers and will act as their liaison to the right internal partners to quickly resolve any issues they may be having. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sustain current customer base by renewing or converting existing service agreements to auto renewing service agreements Generate leads for Business Development Partner through a regular cadence of contact with the customer base. Be the customers’ trusted partner and go-to-person for product and service needs Quickly resolve or facilitate the resolution of customer escalations Ensure that all customer equipment is registered/update in CRM/ERP Proactively contact customers prior to expiration of credit cards to update credit card information. This ensures that the business receives recurring revenue on time and there is no lapse in service for the customer. Work closely with internal and external partners to provide excellent service to customers and capitalize on selling opportunities. Partners include the business development team, field sales teams, our dealer partners, Customer Service, Technical Support, New Owner Support, Clinical Training, and Field Service Leverage systems such as Dynamics and SAP to effectively manage the book of business Document customer interactions in CRM Be willing to travel up to 5% of the time Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required 1 year of experience with manufacture warranties and extended warranties 1 year of experience in a sales/account management role PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 3 years building long-term relationships with account base over the phone 1 year customer/tech service experience Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems preferred Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communications skills Excellent collaborative behavior skills Well spoken, organized, self-motivated Able to navigate multiple computer tabs/screens Scripted Environment – Have the ability to follow a script, but make it your own Polished, energetic, exudes professionalism and customer focus. Target Market Salary Range: Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
