CU Physical Therapy Research Work-study Position
This Research Work Study position has the primary duties of assisting with research with no involvement in the instructional program.
An employee in this position may be terminated at any time without notice and severance pay is not required. This is an hourly, part-time position without benefits and workers will typically work 6 8 hours per week.
Supervision Received :
This position will report to the Principal Investigator.
Salary Range :
The hiring salary range is : $15.55-$17.60. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
Duties and Responsibilities May Include :
- Assisting with data collection for experiments involving human subjects
- Computerized data processing for a rehabilitation research laboratory
- Assisting with recruitment materials / resources
- Training new personnel and getting the appropriate access to lab resources
- Piloting new protocols and data collection tools
- Assistance with presentations and poster presentations
- REDCap data entry for new / existing protocols
- Double-Data Entry coordination and rectification
- Additional responsibilities as negotiated
Minimum Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- CU Anschutz medical campus 1st or 2nd year Doctor of Physical Therapy student
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Must be team-oriented, flexible and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and make decisions without seeking guidance or approval
Essential Functions :
The individual must be able to work independently and make decisions on their own. Additionally, the individual must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with professional colleagues, project staff members, patients, and study participants of diverse backgrounds.
The individual must be meticulous in data collection, and must have the quantitative skills to prepare data for analysis and to write reports.
