The role:
Join our team in Coquille as an office coordinator! You will provide all business related support to the unit. The office coordinator is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative, business and clerical tasks that enable the unit to get its work completed. Apply today!

A day in the life:
Provide administrative support for the office.
Draft responses and answer requests from internal and external customers.
Answer the phone for the section and direct calls to appropriate staff.
Send communications to the unit staff.
Facilitate meetings.
Pay vendors using appropriate ODOT financial services practices
Coordinate work activities for temporary office staff.
Maintain contracts and ensure that dates are met.
Communicate with team leads and managers on staff schedule changes, communications from the field, and communications from other ODOT staff.

What we need:
Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included coordinating clerical office procedures; OR
an associate's degree in office occupations or office technology.College courses in office occupations or office technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
The State of Oregon requires all executive branch employees to complete their COVID-19 vaccination series or have an approved exception to the requirement due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief. Ability to create agendas, take minutes, send out status through various media, and provide a timely response to calls and emails and maintain great communication.
Experience ordering goods and services, processing purchase orders and paying invoices.
Experience with MS Office products such as Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word.
Experience writing and proofreading documents.
