What You Will Do In Your Role

• 
  Ensure all junior Quality personnel on site are trained and able to conduct quality inspections, sampling, establish benchmarking items and perform all necessary documentation to establish permanent record of tasks performed.
• Inspect all civil, mechanical and electrical work performed in the construction of PV Solar and other energy producing projects.
• Perform audits on documentation and work processes to ensure compliance with established instructions and drawings.
• Train junior personnel in Quality construction, inspection methods and other expectations to perform the job successfully.
• Train subcontract Quality personnel in construction inspection and documentation methods required by DEPCOM as Prime Contractor.
• Attend site kick off meetings to be DEPCOM's Quality representative to our clients on all matters relating to the quality of the site.
• Develop Quality check sheets in accordance with IFC drawings, AHJ's and code.
• Work with site leadership: Project Manager, Construction Manager, and discipline Supervisors to establish Best Practice methods for the unique site requirements.

• Experience inspecting construction techniques in the building of PV solar plants
• Ability to train personnel
• Experience with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Experience in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering disciplines
