What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at Deposco?
Our Business Process team is expanding! We are looking to hire a Scrum Master with a technical background to help lead our teams in best practice and Agile methodologies. This role at Deposco offers a unique opportunity to combine technical aptitude, business skills and Scrum knowledge in an exciting software career. The position allows you to partner directly with our Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success and Engineering teams to help achieve supply chain and business success. Overall, the Scrum Master will help align priorities and expectations for deliverables and timelines. This role reports to the Business Process Manager.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Help the product owner and development teams to achieve customer satisfaction
- Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
- Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
- Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
- Allocate Team members to development work based on availability and priority
- Provide timelines to Professional Services
- Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Support the product and development leads and provide education where needed
Requirements
What You'll Need:
- BA or BS in applicable degree
- Software Engineering background or familiarity
- Intimate knowledge of SDLC
- Project Management experience preferred
- Scrum Master Certification
- 2-5 years xperience leading a Scrum Team
- Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
- Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
