Position Primary Purpose & Mission:
To assist the Controller with the safeguarding of financial assets with effective internal controls, develop and maintain reporting tools for analysis and decision‐making for several departments, maintain and update inventory costs, and be an effective team member on upcoming accounting and Company projects.

Reports to the Controller and works routinely with other Accounting Staff members, sales, marketing, operations, and QC.
Maior responsibilities:
- Thoroughly understand routine transaction flow through the Company's software systems: 1. SYSPRO ERP system and the impact on financial reporting with a special emphasis on manufacturing accounting and transactional flow, monitoring inventory, costs and balances, and data extraction for a variety of reporting requirements. 2. Spreadsheet Server and other reporting tools to efficiently report departmental performance, including KPIs, sales and margin, production reporting, etc.
- Support sales and marketing and other departments with required reporting and 'library development'.
- Own all assigned areas in the monthly financial closing in a timely manner, reconciling all sub‐ledgers.
- Assist as directed with the preparation and analysis of the monthly reporting 'package' and other recurring reporting.
- Become proficient with costing for production activities and inventories.
- Work with the Controller and Operations on several inventory functions.
- Assist the Controller with special assignments and projects as directed, including ERP upgrades, budgeting, capex analysis, costing, margin analysis, and others.
- Be alert for x documents
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
