Clear Start is Dermalogicas global product line targeting Acne in Generation Z consumers and aims to connect with these consumers primarily in a digital way that is relevant for our time and the younger generations.
To increase focus and accelerate growth a separate team has been created which operates autonomously from the Dermalogica organization. This has created incredibly exciting results so far given the agility within the team to quickly create insights, test ideas and push forward at pace.
We are searching for a Brand Marketing Manager to join a team of top-tier, innovative and creative talent to pioneer a fresh new perspective on the Clear Start line - a system of powerful technology-driven formulas that deliver fast-acting results for breakout prone skin.
Playing a crucial part in this newly created business hub, the Brand Marketing Manager will have the unique opportunity to reinvent the brand and bring it into an omnichannel world - ensuring that key areas of the brand are performing well: influencer marketing, retail and customer acquisition.

The position is based out of the Dermalogica corporate headquarters in Carson, CA with applicable hybrid back to work guidelines.
SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE:
You'll be responsible for ideating, developing and executing strategic projects that intersect with retail, influencers and brand growth, bring Clear Start to life IRL and digitally. You'll have a growth mindset and be motivated by the concept of working cross-functionally through social media, influencer marketing, retail and sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build an omni-channel brand by working with the team to ensure there is a consistent presence on social media, with influencers and in-store.
- Utilize data, reporting and analytics to ensure that marketing activities have a high chance of success with a clear connection to sales performance.
- Strategize the most relevant ways to attract new consumers to the brand and get Clear Start products into the hands of people who will love them.
- Experiment, hypothesize and test new ideas quickly and be prepared to fail fast in order to ensure the marketing direction is likely to succeed.
- Directly manage our Influencer Coordinator to lead and bring to life our influencer strategy - from global macro conversations to the day-to-day interactions that happen at every level.
- Nurture an affiliate program that helps to reward our influencer partners and drive DTC traffic.
- Manage retailer relationships and amplify them via new and engaging strategies to increase brand relevance.
- Develop Clear Start's retail strategy and work alongside internal retail account managers to build the business in-store.
- Ideate and execute consumer and influencer events throughout the year in a way that represents Clear Starts brand values and builds awareness around the brand.
- Lead Clear Starts brand affinity program with a goal of creating superfans that generate UGC, by creating a strategy that includes touchpoints across all elements of the consumer journey.
- Liaise with global market teams to aid in bringing their influencer and brand strategies to life for Clear Start in a way thats true to the brand.
- Refresh Clear Starts visual marketing presence at retail level in a truly omni-channel, modern way.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant field.
- 4 years in business management, marketing or project management role
