Medical Receptionist

Our medical receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patients’ medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication. Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to:
· Greeting patients and vendors
· Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
· Entering information into EHR systems.
· Scheduling appointments on the phone and at check out desks.
· Collecting outstanding balances and copays.
· Answering phones
· Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
· Multitasking
· Flexibility
Our Medical receptionists should be high energy, pleasant with patients and staff, organized, and computer-savvy.
Education and Training
· Medical terminology is a plus
· Knowledge of medical billing and insurance is a plus
