We are a fun, relaxed, upscale authentic Italian restaurant. We're looking for a Pantry Cook with a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow company recipes and procedures when preparing food.
- Works in a clean, efficient, and organized manner.
- Must be able to read English (reader board for orders)
- Help conserve costs and control waste.
- Observes good sanitation and safety procedures.
- Maintains a sense of ownership with respect to kitchen equipment.
- Works effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurant.
- Assists in clean-up work as required.
- Adheres to policies as set forth in the associate handbook and department manual.
- Does any other duties requested by management.
· Make cold appetizers, salads, vegetable and bruschetta
· Garnish dishes with spices, nuts, fruit and vegetables
· Prepare vinaigrettes, dips and herb-infused oils
- Prepare dessert plating according to specific instruction
Skills and Experience:
· Work experience as a Pantry Cook, or similar role
· Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment
· Highly organized
· Good communication skills
· Good knowledge of food plating techniques
- Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen
