As the Senior Marketing Generalist, you'll handle various responsibilities such as; create proposals for content development and handle project management, support our sales and prospecting efforts, and enhance brand promotion and communications. The Senior Marketing Generalist will also have heavy collaboration with the Marketing Team, Sales Team, and VP of Sales. This position comes with a unique set of responsibilities and challenges. Senior Marketing Generalist Responsibilities
Proposal Content Development and Project Management (60%)
- Coordinate proposal and pitch deliverables from kickoff to development to production to delivery for all types of competitive opportunities deemed necessary
- Provide technical writing, technical editing, document management, and content development
- Apply brand positioning and service/capability differentiation under the direction of account/corporate leaders
- Lead project management efforts with all relevant and directly responsible members of the account team
- Train, onboard, and mentor new team members as it relates to the proposal development and project management process
- Assist in the documentation and organization of proposal metrics and data analysis
Sales and Prospecting Support (20%)
- Partner with marketing leaders in the development, implementation, and communication of sales enablement materials
- Partner with corporate sales and marketing stakeholders to help drive the process for prospecting initiatives through project management, marketing automation, and writing
- Suggest process improvements and new ways to elevate sales enablement and prospecting
Brand Promotion and Communications (20%)
- Identify and write new case studies / success stories for internal and external consumption
- Partner with Marketing Manager to communicate company purpose, vision, and beliefs to employees and prospects
- Provide insight and ideas for website content
- Research, support and direct team members to devise, write, position, layout, and submit industry award entries

Requirements
Senior Marketing Generalist Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field experience
- 5 or more years of experience working in Tradeshow or Event Industry, marketing related role(s), and/or supporting new business development efforts through request for proposal deliverables.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to function with ambiguity and have strong critical thinking.
