We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our residential remodel team. This role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for someone with a passion for financial management and an eye for accuracy. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations while supporting office management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain trade records and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage onboarding and vendor registration paperwork for new trades.
- Assist with internal audits and provide essential financial data.
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document organization.
- Support general office management to maintain a well-organized workspace.
Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to explain financial information to non-accounting team members.
- Experience in a bookkeeping or related accounting role is highly desirable.
Schedule:
- In-office work & Flexible hours
- Approximately 24-40 hours per week, depending on workload.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the construction or remodeling industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
