Job Description
This job reports to the Director of Business Development
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Executive to help bolster our sales team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently engage with customers and develop strong relationships. A successful Sales Executive will be a confident self-starter, possess excellent communication skills, be well organized, work independently, along with the ability to multi-task. The responsibilities require order entry & processing, daily customer interaction by phone and in person, conducting demos & creating new products, and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service in person and over the phone. Ability to answer questions, take floral orders and solve concerns
- Meet, exceed, and understand sales goals & targets yearly, monthly & seasonally
- Sell products at expected margins, unless agreed to with sales manager
- Confirming & processing orders of customer’s needs and request daily
- Responsible for preparing and submitting weekly sales and inventory
- Responsible for making weekly and seasonal offers to customers (AD items, specials, and promos’)
- Enter distribution sheets / orders and create items for customers into customized software
- Interact with Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure or adjust proper handling or adjustments needed
- Work with Quality team to confirm recipes arrive accurately and quality as expected. Correct colors, flower varieties, sleeve, UPC issues and such
- Visit customers as needed to go over new offerings
- Constant customer visits, monitor quality, consistency, competition and assist department leads to improve display and sales
- Generate new ideas of selling product to increase sales
- Attend Trade Shows for accounts when necessary
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred or 5 years in customer service, retail and/or merchandising
- Solid computer skills in Office, Outlooks with focus on Excel and web analytics
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer service oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 lbs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
