Job Description
As a Recruiter on the team, you will help find and recruit world class talent for our team. This person will be responsible for all aspects of sourcing and hiring and will be working with hiring managers to help support their efforts.
As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:
- Source, contact and qualify potential candidates in the marketplace. This includes: networking, referrals, job boards, ad postings, internet and utilization of other recruitment activities
- Successfully prioritize and review job requisitions in order to understand the needs of the various companies and hiring managers, as well to ask questions that will help identify the right candidates
- Develop and drive sourcing strategies with a focus on long and short term pipeline building of diverse talent
- Complete market research to understand where external talent pools exist and work collaboratively with internal teams to execute on sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools
- Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for open roles
- Strategically drive interviews and recruiting processes forward with special attention to creating efficient, positive, and educational experiences for hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned roles, be able to proactively provide status updates to involved parties and leadership
- Create an awesome candidate experience for every candidate that applies or is interviewed
Qualifications
Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3-5 years of corporate full-life cycle recruiting experience minimum, ideally at a fast-paced start-up
- Well-rounded experience recruiting across multiple business functions (R&D, Hardware Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Product, etc.) and levels
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with hiring manager and drive the recruiting process
- Highly organized and personable with a “whatever-it-takes” attitude
- Experience working with strict timelines
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to navigate competing priorities
Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):
- Previous experience recruiting in a tech, medical device, or CPG start-up
- Previous experience using Greenhouse
