The Environment, Health, and Safety Manager position is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, and directing EHS activities to ensure employee engagement, regulatory compliance and implement the EHS management system to protect human health and the environment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
- Establish a culture that is aligned with EHS goals and objectives, with continuous EHS improvements.
- Manage, direct, coach, lead, and motivate plant personnel to achieve EHS goals and objectives in a timely and safe manner, while continuously striving to improve safety skills and awareness.
- Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating EHS compliance activities through functional teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs and activities for the facilities to achieve, maintain and exceed compliance with relevant regulatory laws and regulations.
- Identify and develop good working relationships with federal, state, and local authorities (i.e., safety agencies, fire departments, etc.)
- Develop, coordinate and conduct EHS training
- Lead and assist employee safety teams to understand and own safety and compliance at all levels in the facilities.
- Responsible for driving processes that will result in a reduction of incidents and injuries and the identification of potential hazards present in the workplace.
- Track goals and leading safety metrics, report data to management
- Responsible for directing incident investigations; identifying root causes and executing sustainable corrective actions.
- Ensure proper OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements are satisfied
- Conduct routine compliance inspections and complete reporting requirements for required environmental compliance programs.
- Maintain all safety related communications.
- Update safety handbook
- Travel to all US sites - Texas, Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina
The Environment, Health, and Safety Manager will be responsible for programs and practices that ensure the safety, health and environment for a workforce of over 100 employees at our US locations. The EHS Manager will ensure the facilities are in compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

- The position reports directly to the Head of US Operations

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
