About the team
The Compliance Operations team ensures by way of various internal and external testing, the implemented controls to specifically assess protection mechanisms with respect to company confidential Information, our regulatory and contractual obligations. The testing program provides for enterprise-wide governance, ongoing assessment of controls and annual reporting on the current state of regulatory compliance.
About the Role:
As a Compliance Analyst II, you will use data analytic tools to track, review and communicate regulations, agency guidelines or directives for creating dynamic solutions that transform raw data into relevant insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reports for Executives and Upper Management across the Compliance organization.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Responsible for supporting architecture and design of data warehouse, data marts and BI reports in support of various data initiatives.
- Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
- Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those
- Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish
- Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
- Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
- Analyze current ETL process, define and design new systems
- Data warehouse development and work with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
- Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems
- Create customize charts and custom calculations as per requirements
- Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs
- SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data
- Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or law or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- 2 years of relevant compliance knowledge
- Background with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP
- Prior experience in data-related tasks and data analytics
- Understanding of the Microsoft BI Stack
- Should be proficient in software development
- Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics
- Excellent communication skills are required to communicate needs with client and internal teams successfully
