About the role:
In a Corporate Counsel role, you will manage legal business matters to protect the enterprise’s rights in a variety of areas within the corporate affairs group, including legal oversight of the ESG program, management of international and domestic subsidiaries, compliance, reporting and filings under the New York Stock Exchange listing requirements and U.S. Securities laws, and legal support for corporate operations, including corporate governance, business acquisitions and divestitures, financing transactions and general corporate matters.
What you will be doing:
• Prepare and negotiate contracts while providing legal advice and counsel to business units in a variety of areas.
• Performing legal research and analysis on general corporate matters.
• Advise colleagues on legal issues relating to U.S. Securities laws, corporate governance, international and domestic subsidiaries, commercial contracts and compliance.
What you will need
• A college degree and a Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience with general corporate matters and drafting general commercial contracts.
• Ability to review and evaluate multi-faceted issues and counsel business colleagues on complex legal questions relating to various business matters.
