About the Role:
FIS is looking for a Compliance Manager in Atlanta, GA or within the EST. The Compliance Manager, Risk and Treasury is a pivotal member of the Capital Markets Compliance team. In this role you will support the Treasury & Risk lines of business and will have direct oversight responsibility for select risk business units.
This is an individual contributor role requiring prior compliance experience and an ability to work independently, recognize when issues should be escalated and communicate effectively with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.
About the team
The FIS Capital Markets Corporate Compliance team forms part of the Enterprise Global Regulatory Compliance Function, with a key focus on supporting the FIS Capital Markets Lines of Business. The team has a global reach and responsibility for all aspects of regulatory compliance across Capital Markets products, services, and regulated entities to ensure they operate in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, regulatory guidelines, and requirements worldwide.
We provide regulatory guidance and compliance support to various stakeholders and senior management across the business and the team consists of experienced legal and compliance professionals. What You Will be Doing:
- Maintain knowledge, monitor, and communicate regulatory changes associated with applicable laws and regulations that impact FIS’ Treasury & Risk products, services, and business activities.
- Meet with assigned business unit Compliance Stakeholders on a regular basis to offer guidance on implementing regulatory change, address regulatory and/or compliance issues, concerns, or questions.
- Perform periodic reviews, risk assessments and evaluations of assigned products, services, and business activities to validate compliance with applicable laws and regulations or detect regulatory violations, weak controls, or other potential areas of exposure.
- Monitor development projects for lines of business under purview to verify that regulatory compliance requirements and compliance effective dates are met.
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies, playbooks, and standards
- Design and author White Papers relevant to the Risk and Treasury lines of business.
- Support the execution of corporate compliance operations processes and procedures across the team.
- Assist with special projects and other compliance-related duties as needed.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. A Master's Degree would be a plus.
- 5 years of compliance experience in either the Financial Industry or a Corporate Treasury, with knowledge of the Basel III regulatory framework.
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance operations, processes, and procedures; (e.g., regulatory change management, compliance risk assessments.
- Ability to follow and conduct a compliance monitoring program
- Excellent research, critical thinking, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Ability to understand technical documents and legal or regulatory reference materials and apply learned concepts.
- Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with confidential issues that are sensitive in nature.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations.

- Knowledge of Basel Committee on Banking Supervision Basel III Framework
- Prior experience in a Corporate Treasury and/or Insurance environment
